Lesson Progression Bar, Statuses and Flags (SCP)

To assist with the planning of lessons within Qlix there are three separate tools available: the lesson progression bar, lesson statuses and lesson flags.

The Lesson Progression Bar

The lesson progression bar is shown in the bottom right corner of a lesson panel. It automatically progresses as content in the lesson plan is populated. For example: completing the title, completing details for the starter, main and plenary or populating the equipment and homework fields (when applicable).

Lesson Statuses

The lesson statuses are simple red/green toggles that can be flipped based on the preparation status of the lesson. The statuses can be easily switched by clicking on them.

There are three different lesson statuses connected to different lesson preparations: collecting resources, preparing homework and preparing equipment. The preparing homework and equipment statuses only appear if the lesson plan has the homework and/or equipment fields populated (respectively) or if the homework and/or practical lesson flags are 'on' (more details on lesson flags below).

Note, the resources toggle has been switched to green.

Lesson Flags (SCP)

The lesson flags are used as notifications for a lesson. There are three lesson flags: set homework (S), collect homework (C) and practical lesson (P). Each flag can be toggled on or off by clicking on it.

Note, the set homework and practical lessons are auto toggled to be 'on' if the homework or equipment fields are populated and you cannot turn off these toggles if the corresponding fields are populated.

Lesson Flags

Here the set homework and practical flags are turned on.

The default values of the lesson flags can be set within the timetable. When populating the timetable each lesson can be customised to change the default values of each lesson flag.
