When an academic year uses two-week timetabling, each week of the year is assigned to an ‘A week’ or a ‘B week’ in an alternating pattern. Sometimes the automatically assigned week is incorrect, this usually happened for the first week in the year or the first week after a vacation.
To change the week from an ‘A week’ to a ‘B week’ or vice versa, our switch weeks functionality can be used. The switch weeks functionality will change a ‘A week’ to a ‘B week’ or change a ‘B week’ to an ‘A week’, all future weeks will also change to preserve the alternating pattern of the future weeks.
The switch weeks button is located in three locations, the home page via the ’Switch’ button, the diary page via the ’Switch Weeks’ option (see below) and the planning page via the switch icon (see below). The button should be used on the date the first switching of the week should take place.

Planning Page
It is important to use the switch weeks function before any future lessons are planned, all future lesson plans will become unscheduled when the switch weeks functionality is used. Remember, any unscheduled lesson plans can be located in the lesson bank page and easily reimported into a lesson.
